CapitalSync ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered investor-business matchmaking platform operated by CapitalSync Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India. We connect fundable businesses with global investors across 192 countries.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Name, email, phone, company name, designation
• Business data: Revenue, funding stage, sector, PERSIST Score inputs
• Usage data: Pages visited, API calls, feature usage, session duration
• Payment data: Processed by Razorpay/Stripe — we do not store card details
• Device data: IP address, browser, OS (for security and fraud prevention)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Matching your business profile with relevant investors
• Generating your PERSIST Score and due diligence reports
• Sending deal flow alerts and platform notifications
• Processing payments and issuing invoices
• Improving our AI models and platform features
• Compliance with SEBI, RBI, and applicable regulations

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with: (a) investors you explicitly connect with, (b) our service providers (Railway, Supabase, Razorpay, SendGrid, WhatsApp Business API), (c) regulators when legally required. We do not sell your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for 7 years from last activity as required by Indian financial regulations. You may request deletion of non-regulated data at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, withdraw consent, and nominate a representative. Email privacy@capitalsync.net to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies (with consent) for platform improvement. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Security

We use TLS 1.3 encryption, Row-Level Security on all database tables, JWT-based authentication, and rate limiting on all endpoints. All data is stored in ISO 27001-compliant infrastructure.
